This is the fifth instance of a tradition that started in Chile (1998) and continued in Mexico (2001), Spain (2004) and Brazil (2007). The aim of the Iberoamerican Congresses on Geometry is to congregate mathematicians of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and the Americas, around a common theme.
The V Iberoamerican Congress on Geometry will take place in Pucón, southern Chile, from December 10th to 13th, 2010.
